We’ve all been there. The pile gets too big. The backlog of unpainted models gets unmanageable. The feeling that you will never finish them can be overhwelming at times.

Well we have GOOD NEWS for you! 

Your ‘pile of shame’ is the whole reason Flip of a Coin Games got started.

Our Trash for Treasure program allows you to trade-in your pile for a set of shiny new products!

Leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of tomorrow.

NOTE: If you don’t want to do a trade-in, you can simply sell us your pile!

Right now we take in:

  • Any Games Workshop products in any condition – new, open box, on sprue, used, assembled, painted, etc.
  • Most CCG/TCG boxes, packs, and singles for Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, and Lorcana (no common/uncommon lots please unless they are very OOP).

In the future we will take in a greater variety of collectibles from multiple genres.

Steps

  1. Email us HERE with a list of what you’d like to trade-in. ([email protected])
  2. We request that you send us information about your items such as edition, condition, configuration, paintjob quality, as well as any pictures you can provide.
  3. Once you send any additional information we’ve requested, we will get back to you in a day or so with a trade-in quote in the form of a dollar value.
  4. You have 3 days to accept the quote. If you don’t, we can still take your trade-in, but we reserve the right to revise our quote.
  5. You choose items from our stock with a value equal to your trade-in quote. We remove those items from our stock and hold them for you.
  6. You ship your items to us.
  7. We open and inspect your package(s) to ensure we’ve received everything from your list of items, and that everything is in its stated condition.
  8. We address any issues regarding missing or damaged items – these factors may require us to modify your original trade-in quote.
  9. We ship your new items to you.

Do I cover my own shipping costs when I ship to FOAC Games?

Yes. We also cover our shipping costs when we ship your new items to you.

What happens if I ship FOAC Games my models and they are damaged in transit?

Shipping is almost never perfect, but damage happens. If you packed your items correctly, 99% of any minor damage is easily repaired and won’t be a problem. If you packed your items poorly and we receive a shipment of debris because you didn’t use packing materials, there’s not much we can do about it. We will decide on a case-by-case basis how to resolve any such issues.

What if the value of the items I want from FOAC Games is greater than the trade-in quote I got?

You will pay the difference in value, minus any applicable discounts, just as if you were making a regular purchase from us.

What if the value of my trade-in quote is greater than the value of items I want from FOAC Games stock?

FOAC Games will pay a percentage of the difference in value.
